Our heavy duty bottle stopper mandrel is designed to work with most 4 jaw chuck systems providing a quick and easy mount (not compatible with mini-chucks)

The mandrel tip is concave to assist with alignment to the tailstock during mounting

M8 thread is compatible with all our bottle stoppers and also our BOT1 bottle opener kit as well as WSi and HJi wood inserts and joints

The round 19mm collar provides a guide for turning and the mandrel can also accept our 24mm bushing ring for larger stoppers & pieces

Quick, versatile and made from quality stainless steel - will not rust when not in use

Unlike an MT mandrel there is no requirement for a drawbar or other equipment to secure it

Compatible with the following:

BSKT - teardrop bottle stoppers

BSKP - Cone bottle stoppers

BSSS - stainless steel bottle stoppers                              

BSKB - Ball end bottle stoppers

BUL- bullet style bottle stoppers

BOT1 - bottle opener kit

WSi & HJi wood joints

Bought not for bottle stoppers but holding model car wheels of the same diameter. Holds well in the chuck.

This is a nicely manufactured mandrel which holds short pieces of wood firmly in chuck jaws. I find that the optional thick mandrel washer is a must-have accessory which makes turning small pieces cleaner and safer
