With a quality German design writing tip this kit has a premium feel. The cap removes and posts on the rear of the pen when in use and comes with a standard ink cartridge and an ink converter for the purist who prefers bottled ink.
This kit can be turned between centres as well as on a standard mandrel
NB: the new gold uprated kit now has a twist cap - it still posts just the same but feels a bit nicer

This kit, is so easy to fit (even for someone like me) I love how stylish it looks, even in the bag. The fact that it comes with a cartridge and a refillable cartridge is great value.

Thought I would give this kit a go as I hadn’t seen it before. I wasn’t expecting it to be such good quality and I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be so nice to use, the nib is fantastic and everyone that tries the pen says how beautifully it writes. I ended up loving it

Rollester and Nibster Pen Kits 16 September 2022 | Ken
I have the bushings for these kits but no other pen making hardware. Have a look at the video on making these kits without any extra kit. It was so simple to make and they seem very robust.

One of my favourites, often assembled without the pocket clip. A more modern take on the pen cap means when paired, then pen balance ergo writing style/flow not changed.

This was the first fountain pen kit that I've used and I'm very happy with it. My only issue with it, and the reason that it only gets 4 stars, is that after I'd lined up the pocket clip with the nib and pressed it fully in to place, the actual writing nib (which itself screws in to the metal nib section) turned within the nib section so the pocket clip was then misaligned, although it was possible to force it back round in to alignment.

I have been using a Nibster pen for a while now. All members of my family asked for the Rollester rollerball except one. Thankfully, my granddaughter has good taste and has demanded a proper pen. I am looking forward to teaching her how to make one.
